UK / Empora Codeshare Terminated ________________________________________________
Fly UK regrets to inform
all members that the codeshare agreement between Fly UK and Empora
Virtual has been terminated with immediate effect. All Empora flights
and aircraft have been removed from the Fly UK system.
CEO of
Fly UK Chris Sutcliffe commented: "I am sad to see that Empora Virtual
has not been able to resolve their recent problems which has now
resulted in the temporary closure of the VA. The codeshare flights have
been very popular with pilots at Fly UK but due to the uncertain future
of Empora Virtual it is not viable for us to continue with the codeshare
agreement. Our operations team are actively searching for an
alternative US carrier to setup a codeshare agreement with, we hope to
be in a position to bring you news about a new codeshare very soon."
